Metriq
Metriq is Combric’s default design language: restrained, editorial, and
technical. The published @combric/tokens@1.1.1 package keeps a square general
--combric-radius for structural use and adds role-specific geometry for
functional components. Button and Card default to 0.25rem; controls, overlays,
circles, and pill tracks use their own semantic radius tokens.
Primitive tokens hold reusable raw values. Semantic tokens name UI purpose and point to primitives. Components consume semantic CSS properties so canonical values are defined once without introducing a runtime theme system.
Metriq documents default developer-facing behavior; it is not a brand guideline or Theme Builder. The published semantic palette is the source of truth for component previews in both light and dark themes. Documentation chrome remains a separate, bounded Starlight mapping layer.
